Questions before you integrate
What counts as a request?
One call to an endpoint that returns prices (odds, props or history) counts as one request, however many fixtures, books or markets come back. Listing sports, bookmakers, markets and upcoming fixtures, and your account endpoints, never count.
What happens when I run out of requests?
Calls that return prices are refused with a
429 and the error code ALLOWANCE_SPENT until your allowance resets at the turn of the month or you move up a plan.What is in-play odds?
Prices for a fixture that has already started. It is included from the Growth plan up. The
/live lists return fixtures in play now; on Free and Starter they, and asking for a started fixture directly by its id, are refused with the same upgrade response player props and history give.How does yearly billing work?
A yearly plan saves about 20% against paying monthly for twelve months, shown as one yearly total.
How do I know when a price was confirmed?
Every price can carry
last_update, the moment its book last confirmed it; it is nullwhen unavailable.What does a response look like?
Each fixture lists its bookmakers, each bookmaker its markets, each market its outcomes with a price and a point. A market's key is its family alone (
totals, spreads); a period market such as the first-5-innings total or the first-half spread carries a separate period field instead. Prices come in American or decimal odds, chosen per call with oddsFormat.Which books are included?
