OddsLink vs SportsGameOdds

SportsGameOdds lists more books than we do: 77 bookmakers on its $99 Rookie plan and 82 on its $299 Pro plan. That $99 plan updates every 3 minutes and counts objects. OddsLink has 46 books on every plan, in-play from $49, and $99 buys 500,000 requests.

Where OddsLink is different

Update speed sits behind $299

Their pricing lists updates every 10 minutes on the free plan, every 3 minutes on the $99 Rookie plan and sub-minute only from the $299 Pro plan. OddsLink puts in-play on Growth at $49, and every price carries last_update so you can check its age yourself.

Requests instead of objects

SportsGameOdds counts objects: each top-level item a response returns, and at least one per response. An object is not a request, so the two allowances do not convert. A call that returns 20 games is 20 objects there and one request here.

Every book on the free plan

OddsLink Free has all 46 books on 1,000 requests a month. Their free Amateur plan has 9 bookmakers on 2,500 objects a month, and asks for a card at signup.

History and streaming at a listed price

History starts on our $99 Scale plan and on their $299 Pro plan. WebSocket starts at $148 here, Growth plus the add-on. Theirs is on All-Star, which is priced by talking to them. Both sets of prices are monthly list prices, and they advertise up to 40% off for annual billing.

Questions

Is OddsLink an alternative to SportsGameOdds?

Yes. SportsGameOdds lists more books. OddsLink puts all 46 on every plan and bills one request per call, with history from $99 and WebSocket from $148 a month.

How does a request compare with an object?

They do not convert. A request is one call to us, whatever comes back. An object is a top-level item in a SportsGameOdds response, so one call can spend many, and each response spends at least one.

Does OddsLink carry Pinnacle?

Yes. Pinnacle is one of the 46 books, on every plan including Free, with moneylines, spreads, totals, alternate lines and period markets.

Can I build arbitrage, +EV or middles tools on OddsLink?

Yes. Every book comes back in one JSON shape on one fixture id, so comparing prices across sportsbooks, exchanges and prediction markets takes one request per sport. The free calculators at /tools/ cover no-vig prices and middles.
